I love life and have a great appreciation of God’s creation around me. It is only natural that my art would be an expression of that love of life, especially of God’s greatest creation - people. I have always enjoyed painting people, from my days as an illustrator to today as a portrait artist. Each painting tells a story of a past, a future, a personality. To capture that in a highly representational manner is a goal which motivates every painting. I enjoy both mediums of watercolor and oil as each are uniquely suited to tell the story of the person being painted. I strive to constantly grow and sharpen my artistic skills to better create art that represents “the celebration of life.”
